Gordon Willis was well-known for his amazing ability to tell a story with camera shots. He could incorporate the surroundings and the point of entry like few others. He has made cinema magic out of films such as The Godfather franchise, Annie Hall or The Paper Chase. Fans who are 40 and up will remember seeing his amazing work over the years. His prime was in the 1970s, but his career lasted until the late 1990s.

"Blade Runner" Sequel Reminds Us Of The Original

The talk of the forthcoming Blade Runner sequel has a number of film fans excited. There are a number of web sources, including Variety, that are reporting that the film will have Harrison Ford back in his old role as Rick Deckard, or he has at least been offered the role. Only time will tell us if he will accept.

Charlize Theron Shows Us "A Million Ways to Die In The West"

Actress Charlize Theron is going to be in a film to be seen on the big screen soon alongside Seth McFarlane of "Family Guy" and Ted fame as well as veteran (or should we say "legend") Liam Neeson. It will be called A Million Ways To Die In The West, a comedy/western about a cowardly farmer who falls for a mysterious woman and what ensues. Theron will play a character named "Anna," she will also be joined by Amanda Seyfried and Neil Patrick Harris.

Director Kathryn Bigelow is now very well-known in Hollywood. Her films about military missions have made her a sort of go-to gal for flicks inspired by the Department of Defense. Bigelow is a veteran, having been in the business since the late 1970s. Up until 2008, most fans knew her for her work in the early 1990s classic Point Break.

Actor Channing Tatum is a hot commodity these days. He's now a part of the new X-Men film as proof. Its producer Lauren Schuler Donner says that he will play the coveted role of Gambit in the next release from the popular film franchise. Tatum had expressed interest in the role. The movie is said to be a "spinoff."

Three legends are set to be a part of a film production. One of the legends in Howard Hughes who will be the focus of a movie by Warren Beatty that will star Alec Baldwin. For those who are unfamiliar with Howard Hughes, he was the often eccentric American aviator and businessman who had an interesting tale. His megabucks and eccentric behavior make him sort of a Richard Branson of the past. The only difference is that Branson doesn't seem to be eccentric enough to fully fill Hughes's shoes. Hughes died in 1976 and is remembered as one of the most unique individuals in history.

The Latest On Natalie Portman's "A Tale of Love and Darkness"

Actress Natalie Portman won fans over for her work in Black Swan, V for Vendetta or Thor: The Dark World. Now we will see her in a flick that she is currently filing titled A Tale of Love and Darkness. She is also directing this re-eneactment of a memoir about the fight to settle the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Veteran Israeli actor Makram Khoury will be a part of the cast for this film. It is slated for a release later this year.

Actress Judy Greer is a relatively familiar face. Fans have seen her in 13 Going on 30 and What Women Want. This Detroit native is nearly 40 and fans are about to see her hit her peak. She is set for a number of films that will capture attention including the forthcoming Jurassic Park sequel Jurassic World. Greer is also set to join Adam Sandler for a film about the frustrations brought about by sex in the flick Men, Women & Children.

LeBron James And Rebel Wilson Make Waves In Showbiz

Basketball star LeBron James is a likable guy. He's tall, muscular and dominant on the basketball court. However, he's always seemed to be low-key and friendly with everyone. Hollywood has taken note and the star from the Miami Heat will now join Judd Apatow for the comedy Trainwreck. This film is set for a release in July of 2015, little is known about its plot at this time.

Trainwreck will also feature a performer who wowed us in Tom Hanks's Captain Phillips named Barkhad Abdi. Brie Larson is also onboard.

Andy Buckley Joins "Jurassic World"

He is most known for his television work in "The Office," now film fans will ge new exposure to him. His name is Andy Buckley and he joins the cast of the forthcoming Jurassic Park sequel titled Jurassic World. Irrfan Khan, Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt are also set for this release from Universal.

This is not Buckley's first movie. In fact, the Massachusetts-born performer has been seen in a number of relevant films recently. The list inlcudes Bridesmaids, Mark Wahlberg's The Other Guys or Sandra Bullock's The Heat.
