Jennifer Garner is set to co-star with Al Pacino in the film "Imagine" about an old letter written by the Beatles' John Lennon. The film is about a man who reads the letter and is inspired to reconnect with his son.

Jordana Brewster Recovering Along With "Fast & Furious" Team

Actress Jordana Brewster has expressed sorrow over the loss of her "Fast & Furious" teammate Paul Walker. However, she is still very active in the business and is putting together a number of films including "Fast & Furious 7." 

Look for Brewster, the attractive young woman who was born in Panama, to appear alongisde Adrien Brody in the action/adventure film "American Heist" later this year. On top of that, Brewster will be a part of a comedy to be released latet this year titled "North of Hell."

"American Sniper" Gearing Up

There are a number of news sources that are reporting that the forthcoming film "American Sniper" has added Davd Negahban, Eric Laden, Rey Gallegos and Eric Close to its cast. This makes it an all-star team when we take into consideration that fact that these performers join Bradley Cooper, Sienna Miller and Jake McDorman. On top of that, the film will be directed by Clint Eastwood.

The Latest on "The Jungle Book"

The new version of the old classic "The Jungle Book" wil have a director by the name of Andy Serkis. This is a very accomplished man whose resume includes 2011's "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" and a "Lord of the Rings" flick. He will be making his directoral debut with "The Jungle Book."

"The Jungle Book" has had several different versions over the years. The one version that people tend to remember is the 1967 Disney animated release which featured the voices of Louis Prima, Sebastian Cabot and Phil Harris.

Actor Samuel L. Jackson is set to appear, yet again, in his role as "Nick Fury." The actor has played Fury in other movies including "The Avengers" and the first "Captain America." He's the type of actor who you recognize almost immediately, yet never get to know his name. David Morse has been seen in calssics such as "The Green Mile" or "The Hurt Locker." He even played America's first President George Washington in the HBO mini-series "John Adams." He is a veteran performer who has been in the business since 1980 when he joined John Savage for the drama "Inside Moves."

Sofia Coppola To Direct "Little Mermaid"

Universal and Working Title's "Little Mermaid" has a high profile director who will likely add some of her artistic skill to the production. Her name is Sofia Coppola and fans instantly recognize her as the daughter of film legend Francis Ford Coppola. She is no slouch hereslef, having directed films such as "The Virgin Suicides" and "Lost In Translation."

Coppola even has some acting on her resume. In 2001, she joined Jeremy Davies for the film "CQ." To our knowledge, she won't be acting in "Little Mermaid." She will be at the helm and will likely do fairly well.

"Divergent" Brings Us More Shailene Woodley

The forthcoming flick "Divergent" has a lot of fans talking. It will likely be a megahit, doing very wella t the box office and turning Shailene Woodley into an A-list star in Hollywood. In this sci-fi flick, Woodley will join Kate Winslet and Theo James. The film will be hitting theaters this weekend and is likely going to be the box office leader.

"Sex Tape" To Star Cameron Diaz

A married couple finds out that a sex tape they had made has gone missing. It leads them into a frantic chase to find its whereabouts. This sounds like it could be a great comedy and, when it's released later this year, it could be a great money-maker. It will star actress Cameron Diaz alongside Jason Segel.

"Sex Tape" will hit theaters in July. This comedy also sats "Daily SHow" alum Rob Corddry and is directed by Jake Kasdan of "Bad Teacher" fame.

Legendary Comic Dave Brenner Has Died

Comedian David Brenner was a regular on "The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson." He was one of the great stad-ups of all time. Sadly, he has died at the age of 78. Brenner's unique style and ability to make audiences of all shapes and sizes laugh won him the respect many other comedians desire. Thoguh he was mainly known for his stand-up work, he was a part of one film.
