Of course, some of the traditional movies that most look forward to feature the animated characters "The Peanuts." There is talk that a 2015 film featuring the characters from the series that we all love will bring about a new fanbase for the crew.

Vanessa Kirby To Show Her "Genius"

Actress Vanessa Kirby will appear alongside veteran Nicole Kidman in the film "Genius." It is the story of editor Max Perkins during his time with Scribner as a book editor. Perkins was the editor of Ernest Hemingway, F. Scott Fitzgerald and Thomas Wolfe. For Kirby, the role will be about an interesting figure and will give her career further exposure. The film is slated for a release in 2015 and will likely pick up some decent reviews.

The Legendary Career Of Mike Nichols

The current generation got a taste of his work with the 2007 Tom Hanks film "Charlie Wilson's War." Those who knew him, knew how good he was. They remember "The Graduate" or "The Birdcage." He kept his record of skillful film-making alive with a 2004 hit "The Closer." Now Hollywood is saddned to find out that he is gone. Mike Nichols, a veteran film-maker, has died at the age of 83. He is being remembered as a true master.

"23 Jump Street" Is On Its Way

Film fans were pleasantly surprised when the "21 Jump Street" reboot was a success a few years back. It was funny, interesting and not a waste of time. The sequel wasn't bad either. In fact, "22 Jump Street" had a lot of fans laughing non-stop. Interestingly, its closing montage featured a seires of possible sequels for "23 Jump Street," "26" Jump Street" so on and so forth. It showed stars Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum going to culinary school, the retirment home or even beauty school. This would have implied that the series was finished. However, it was not.

"Rush" Star Daniel Bruhl To Join "Captain America"

Daniel Bruhl put on an amazing performance in the film "Rush" last year as racing legend Niki Lauda. Your humble reporter thought it was one of the best performances of our time. It apparently won over the folks behind the highly prosperous "Captain America" series. Bruhl has been cast to play a villian in the third film, titled "Captain America: Civl War."

In the film, Bruhl will join Chadwick Boseman, Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans. It is slated for a May 6, 2016 release. Fans still seem to love Marvel films, so it will probably make a few bucks at the box office.

"Dumb and Dumber To" Allows Us To See Veteran Kathleen Turner Too!

The 20 year anniversary of "Dumb and Dumber" and its sequel that is hitting theaters this weekend reminds us of some old legends in Hollywood. Of course, Jim Carrey was a major star in the 1990s and Jeff Daniels was also fairly well-known. Another star of the 1990s was an actress named Kathleen Turner, who had wowed fans back in the 1980s with her work in films such as "Romancing the Stone," "Peggy Sue Got Married" and "Prizzi's Honor."

Jena Malone To Star In "Claire"

Most fans recognize actress Jena Malone for her role as "Johanna Mason" in "The Hunger Games" films. She is a part of this highly successful franchise and it it why many other roles have been coming in. The young actress from Nevada will even play the title character in the forthcoming film "Claire." It it, Malone is set to portray a woman who is sick of being a married man's mistress and seeks to find a spouse of her own. This film will be released next year.

Boxer Manny Pacquiao is the focal point of a new documentary on his amazing life. He is a politician, a champion boxer, a family man and someone who the world wants to see fight Floyd Mayweather. The documentary is called, perhaps not so creatively, "Manny." It will be available late this year or early next year.

Elizabeth Olsen To Star In Biography Of Hank Williams

Hank Williams has been the focal point of a 2012 film "The Last Ride" with former Presidential candidate Fred Thompson. The film did not receive major publicity, but it won those who saw it over. It was an amazing story about an amazing performer. Now a new story that is said to be about Hank Williams will be hitting theaters. It will be called "I Saw The Light" and is slated for a release next year.

He is a handsome young actor who has recently made fans laugh hysterically with his work in the film "Neighbors" alongside Seth Rogen. Now he will be seen in a number of other films that will help boost his career.

Fans first became familiar with Zac Efron in the 2000s when he worked mainly in television. By the end of the decade, he was starring in films such as "Me and Orson Welles" and "17 Again." He's been a part of notable flicks such as "The Lorax," "Parkland" and "New Year's Eve."
