What's Next For Aussie Isabel Lucas?

Actress Isabel Lucas has the ability to wow audience members with her stunning good looks and on-camera skill. In films such as "Red Dawn," "Home and Away" or "Immortals" she showed that she has potential to be a major star. So she is landing several new roles that will showcase her abilities. 

Look for the actress to appear in the film "The Water Diviner" later this year with Russell Crowe. She will also join Karl urban for "The Loft" and then Jim Sturgess for "Electric Slide." 

Also look for Lucas to appear in Christian Bale's "Knight of Cups."

"Paradise Lost" And Josh Hutcherson Preparing For Release

You recognize Josh Hutcherson from "Hunger Games" movies. He will be seen in future "Hunger Games" films and you will likely be comfortable with him in the role of "Peeta Mellark." However, you will also get to see this young Kentucky-an in "Paradise Lost."

"Paradise Lost" is an interesting film about Pablo Escobar, a former drug kingpin out of Colombia. Benicio Del Toro will play Escobar in this tale of a young surfer who meets the girl of his dreams and finds out that it's Escobar's daughter.

Drew Barrymore To Get "Blended"

In May, fans will get a chance to see a fan favorite back on the big screen. Actress Drew Barrymore will join megastar Adam Sandler for "Blended." This is a comedy about a blind date that lands a couple of people on a resort island for families. It will likely be a success at the box officed, but probably not a major blockbuster. Fans of Barrywomore are happy that she will be on screen for them when the flick is released.

A Look At A Mickey Rooney Role That Kept Him Relevant

It seems film fans are still moruning the recent loss of acting legend Mickey Rooney.He died eariler in the week at the age of 93. He is remembered as a likable perfomer with a lengthy career that many thought was over a few years back. However, it wasn't over at all. The legend from New York was called to join megastars Ben Stiller, Ricky Gervais and Robin Williams back in 2006 for a comedy known as "Night at the Museum." In the film, Rooney was to play a character named "Gus."

"Relative Insanity" To Star Maggie Grace

In the early 2000s, we got a chance to check out actress Maggie Grace on the big screen and knew that she was going to be a star. She was attractive and youthful, she had that Midwestern girl-next-door appeal that we love so much. Now we are going to see her in a lead role. Look for Grace to appear in "Relative Insanity" alongside David Duchovny and Helen Hunt down the road. The film is said to be a comedy/drama which will be a modern adaptation of the classic play "The Seagull."

Stephen Colbert's New Gig/Film Career

Actor/comedian Stephen Colbert will be the new host of "The Late Show" on CBS, replacing David Letterman. He has had a successful TV and film career with a recent hit. That hit, "Mr. Peabody & Sherman," is still making money is some theaters. Talk about a success story!

Colbert is also known for his work in "Hobbit" movies and is rumored to be on-board for a new "Hobbit" flick for release later this year. If the rumors are true, look for Colbert to star in "The Hobbit: There and Back Again."

The Latest on the "Timecop" Reboot

The movie "Timecop" was one of many successful ventures that starred Jean-Claude Van Damme back in the 1990s. It was a classic action flick about a cop who has to regulate time travel. The concept was so great that it is being brought back for a new generation and turned into a classic Hollywood "re-boot." There is news about it too. 

You see, Mark and Brian Gunn are going to be writing the film. These two were responsible for penning "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island." They are likely going to bring the same pizazz to this flick when the production starts up.

"A Year and Change" Finishing Up Its Production Process

Actress Jamie Chung will be seen in "A Year and Change" when it is released next year. The film is said to be a drama about a man who runs a vending machine business who makes some changes in his life. Do you get it? "Changes"...he runs vending machines. Kinda cute.

Chung is also kinda cute. She is a likable youngish actress from California who has been seen in films such as "Grown Ups," "The Hangover Part II" and "Sucker Punch." Her fans recognize her instantly and respect her talents as on on-screen performer.

It seems Jonah Hill is a part of several iconic movies of our era. He was in "Moneyball," "The Wolf of Wall Street," "This Is The End," "Django Unchained" and "Megamind." These "21 Jump Street" reboots have become so popular that the story could be described as iconic in two eras.
