Despite years of fans demanding a "Ghostbusters III" and a script being complete by Dan Ackroyd, the production has never come to be, thanks to Bill Murray´s refusal to do the movie.

Well, seemingly out of nowhere, Dan Ackroyd confirmed to the world on a small country radio station in the States that the movie will now happen! Apparently Murray has finally given in to take part in the movie, but only if the whole movie is shot in CGI.

Ackroyd also gave a great description of what we can expect to see in the film:

”We go to the hell side of Manhattan, downtown, Foley Square. It´s all where the cops are--they are all blue minotaurs. Central Park is this huge peat mine with green demons there, surrounded by black onyx thousand-foot high apartment buildings with classic red devils, very wealthy. We go and visit a Donald Trump-like character who is Mr. Sifler. Luke Sifler. Lu-cifer. So we meet the devil in it.”

The only thing I worry about now that it will all be CGI is that they might concentrate more on the visuals than the characters. Apart from that though, this is great news!
