According to Digital Spy, Orlando Bloom had recently been approached by David Hasslehoff to star as Michael Knight´s son in an upcoming big screen remake of cult TV series "Knight Rider".

Bloom revealed however that he wasn´t as up for the project as Hasslehoff may have hoped:

"I was approached by David in Los Angeles. He´d heard I was a big fan of the old show and said, ´We´re doing a movie version and I´d love you to play my son in it.´ I replied, ´Er, well, that sounds great but you´d need to speak to my manager about it. I used to watch Knight Rider when I was eight but I didn´t like it more than any other series. My favourites were The Fall Guy and The A-Team."

I´m glad Bloom turned down the role, because the thought of him taking over the reigns of a car like KITT didn´t sound too thrilling to me anyway! The only thing I worry about now is Bloom has suddenly revealed he loved "The A-Team" as a kid. Please movie executives, don´t go getting any ideas about casting Bloom as Face in an "A-Team" remake for gods sake!
