According to Digital Spy, Sarah Michelle Gellar has signed on to star in new thriller "Addicted".

Gellar, who seems to love starring in remakes of Asian thrillers these days, will play a woman whose husband and brother in law are involved in a serious accident, resulting in the brother in law going in to a coma and waking up believing he is Gellars husband. The film is based on the South Korean film "Jungdok".

Filming begins in October, and the movie will be directed by Joel Bergvall and Simon Sandquist.

Having never seen the original, I have no idea of what this will be like. However I think if Gellar isn´t careful she is in danger of being typecast for every Asian remake going!
