A while back news emerged that a new TV series based on the character of Sarah Connor from the first two "Terminator" movies was in development, then nothing was heard about it...until now.

It appears that the Fox Network in the States have now green lighted the series to go ahead, according to Joblo.

The pilot of the show will be directed by David Nutter, with a script penned by Josh Friedman.

The series will take place just after the events of "Terminator 2" with Sarah Connor on the run from the law with John Connor.

I´m sure I said this back when I first posted a news article about this, and I´ll say it again now. This series is not needed. I am quite happy with the three "Terminator" films we have now, and lets be honest the third film itself wasn´t exactly a masterpiece like the first two.

If they really feel they have to make something based on this property, then why not get on with "Terminator 4" and give us a movie set totally in the future war, which is what the whole series was building up to anyway!
