The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that production company Morgan Creek is developing a new "Ace Ventura" movie which is set to focus on Ace´s son who takes over the family business!?!

In others words, they will make a cheaper sequel, a la "Son of the Mask", which I have a big hunch will probably suck. I mean for a start off, did we at any point even see Ace settle down in the last two movies?

Basically the first two films worked because of Carreys over the top performances. If he hadn´t have been in them, they would have been big flops, which is where I see this one heading.
