A press release over at PR Newswire has confirmed that Helena Bonham Carter has joined the cast of upcoming blockbuster "Harry Potter And The Order of the Phoenix".

She joins a huge number of other stars in the fifth film in the franchise including Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, Robbie Coltrane, Ralph Fiennes, Michael Gambon, Brendan Gleeson, Jason Isaacs, Gary Oldman, Alan Rickman, Maggie Smith, Emma Thompson, Julie Walters, David Thewlis, Fiona Shaw, Richard Griffiths, David Bradley, Robert Hardy and Mark Williams.

The same press release also confirms that Nicholas Hooper is set to compose music for the movie. Hooper has collaborated with the films director David Yates on several of his previous projects, including "The Girl in the Café", "State of Play", "The Way We Live Now"; and "The Tichborne Claimant".

Although we´re not particularly fanatical about the Potter movies, we must admit they do have a habit of acquiring an ever more impressive cast list for each chapter in the franchise. We´re sure that Bonham Carter can only add to this trend.
