Simon Pegg has signed on to star in British comedy "Run, Fat Boy, Run”, which starts shooting here in the UK next month.

The movie will be directed by "Friends" star David Schwimmer, and the main storyline see´s a man dump his fiancé at the altar, only to regret it many years later, and compete in a marathon hoping to win back the love of his life. He faces hardship however when he finds his true loves new fiancé does everything in his power to make him fail the marathon.

Judging by the films title, we´re wondering whether Pegg will be donning prosthetics of some kind for this role, because he by no means fits the image of a fat boy!
