"The Eye" has the fascinating concept of dealing with "a cornea transplant recipient who sees disturbing images in the mirror that send her on a quest to find out what happened to the eye´s previous owner" according to Cinescape.

This project has apparently been languishing in development hell for a good number of years, so we´ll have to wait and see how it turns out.

What we do know is that Western remakes of Eastern horror films have never been as good as the originals, so don´t expect this to be much different.
