Apparently Peter Jackons next big project will be a remake of "The Dam Busters", according to Digital Spy.

The director has taken a keen interest Lancaster Bombers of late, and is sending his assistant Matt Dravitski to attend the annual Dam Busters reunion this month at Petwood Hotel, near Lincoln.

He has also been speaking to ex service men, presumably to get an authentic taste of just what the missions were like back in the war.

As "The Dam Busters" is probably one of the most iconic films of all time, Jackson has a tough act to follow, but given all his previous work, we´re confident he can probably make our jaws drop again!
