Startling news has emerged in the last few days that Will Smith is keen to take on the lead role in the upcoming adaptation of the classic novel "I Am Legend".
Smith is on a pay or play contract, meaning he will get paid whether the film eventually gets shot or not!

Anyone who has read the novel will have a real hard time imagining Smith taking on this role. We just can´t see Smith playing the rough, and mostly gruff, last human to walk the Earth.
