Brendan Fraser is set to star in a modern day adaptation of Jules Verne classic story "Journey To The Centre Of The Earth".
The modern day version will see a professor checking out a volcanic sensor with his nephew, when they get trapped and the only way out is to journey to the centre of the Earth. It will also feature lots of 3-D effects.
To be honest, we can´t understand why Hollywood feels the need to change this classic story, but there you go. Hopefully the rejigged script will be better than it sounds at the moment.
