Horror director Eli Roth took part in a very entertaining web chat with Empire Online a few days back, and mentioned, among other things, the progress on the "Baywatch" movie he was set to direct.

It turns out that he actually had a plan to get the creator of "Donnie Darko", Richard Kelly, to write the script, but the studio weren´t brave enough to make it!

It has also been reported over at The Hollywood News that former "Baywatch" stars Pamela Anderson, Carmen Elecktra, and Traci Bingham are all up for starring in a big screen version of the movie if it ever got made.

We must admit, although "Baywatch" wasn´t the worlds most intelligent show, it was still pretty fun. Therefore we really think that the studio should take that risk and make this movie!
