Back in 2005, Ricky Gervais managed to persuade Ben Stiller to star in his comedy "Extras", and apparently to pay back the favour Gervais has agreed to take on a role in Stiller´s latest comedy "A Night At The Museum".

Gervais is known for turning down many film roles so he obviously see´s something special in this one.

According to The Mirror, Gervais will play the director of the museum featured in the movie.

The same story also confirms that old school actors Mickey Rooney, and Dick Van Dyke are set to co star as bumbling delivery men who awake an ancient curse that brings all the museums wild exhibits to life.

I must admit, the more I hear about this film, the more fun it sounds. Having Gervais in even a small role also raises my expectations for it greatly!
