According to Variety, Amber Tamblyn is set to star in "The Grudge 2" playing the younger sister of Sarah Michelle Gellars character from the first movie.

Sarah Michelle Gellar is apparently also expected to make a cameo appearence at some point in the sequel.

The script is being wrote by Stephen Susco, and series director Takashi Shimizu is once again set to helm the project.

We were big fans of the original Eastern version of this movie, but didn´t think much of the Westernised remake. Who knows if a sequel to it can be any better, but we´re predicting it won´t be anything to get too excited about.
