Tom Hanks Set To Go On A Star Trek?

Its time for yet another crazy rumour about the next "Star Trek" movie, and this time it concerns Tom Hanks!

According to Sci-Fi Heaven, Hanks appearnce would be something to do with the fact that "Band of Brothers" writer Erik Jendresen has a hand in writing a "Star Trek XI" script!

God knows if this is true, but I really can´t see Hanks in Star trek, it just seems weird?
