The Alice Munro short story "Hateship, Friendship, Courtship, Loveship, Marriage" has been picked up by Warner Bros. for Mark Poirier to adapt.

The focus is on a nanny hired to care for a teenage girl whose mother has just died. Complications arise when the nanny falls in love with the teen´s ailing father.

Julianne Moore is likely to star in the feature.
