Samuel L. Jackson and Hayden Christensen are attached to star in Poker Night. Icon Entertainment International has recently acquired worldwide rights to the thriller.
Variety says the film centers on a rookie detective (Christensen) who wakes to find himself strapped to a chair in a dim and filthy basement. The cop´s faceless abductor is a vicious serial killer who is mercilessly torturing his captive both physically and mentally.
Nick Gillard will direct from a screenplay by Greg Francis. Film is scheduled to begin next year.
