Johnny Depp has admitted to Blackfilm that he is up for playing Captain Jack Sparrow in up to seven "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies! Here´s exactly what he said:

"I think he´s so much fun to play and I think there is so much more to explore with that character that I would keep going. If they wanted me to do "Pirate 7", why not?"

Now I don´t think there will be seven movies as such, but could there be more sequels after the two already being filmed at the moment? I would say with a quote like this it´s highly possible.

The interview also reveals that Depp has spoken to Rolling Stone Keith Richards about being in the movies, and that they will be trying to get him to film his part in the movies in a manner that fits around his touring schedule.

Depp is one of the sites favourite actors, and even though "Pirates of the Caribbean" aren´t exactly his most classic or demanding movies, I wouldn´t mind seeing one or two more sequels with his character in addition to those already being filmed.
