Roger Spottiswoode is set to helm "Children of Guangxi" in China. The project is set to star Brendan Fraser.
Set in Shanghai in 1937, the film centers on a journalist who resisted to pay attention to the Japanese invasion of China and later had a change of heart after witnessing the horror of the Nanjing Massacre. Later, he led some 50 to 60 war orphanages to safety.
