MTV report that Vin Diesel is interested in making a couple of sequels to "The Chronicles of Riddick". Diesel had the following to say about the possible projects:

"Riddick? Well, you know that I´ve always had ´C2´ planned. I´m silently — and I shouldn´t even say this — I´m silently working on ´C2´ with some of the outlines that were created when I first thought of doing the three films. The way that it´s designed-and I hope that I´m not giving too much away-is that in Chronicles of Riddick 2, we go into the Underverse, and then C3, if you will, is that final return home to Furia."

When questioned about the tone of the first possible sequel, Diesel revealed that he expected it to be R rated for the following reason:

"By virtue of the fact that it takes place in the Underverse, which is obviously going to be a lot more gruesome than New Mecca."

So are you ready for more high octane action with Riddick? Personally, I think the character´s ok but I´m not desperate to see another sequel, let alone two! Still if you guys want to disagree (and I´m sure some of you do), then join us in the forum and make your opinion heard!
