Inspired by the MTV animated series created by Peter Chung, the film is set 400 years in the future. Diesease has wiped out the majority of earth´s population except for a sealed off city, Bregna. The city is ruled by a group of scientists and Aeon Flux is one of the top operatives in the "Monican" rebellion. The underground rebellion is led by the Handler, portrayed by Frances McDormand. Aeon uncovers many secrets when she is sent out to kill the government´s leader.
Aeon Flux is coming to cinemas 2005 from Paramount Pictures. The Charlize Theron Central fansite has the first pictures of Theron in her Flux gear!
