Your humble reporter thinks Tommy Lee Jones should have won the Oscar for his performance in the Steven Spielberg film "Lincoln." He was shafted however. Yet, it isn't slowing the actor down. He has a couple projects that he is working on right now. One of the gigs he has is with legend Robert DeNiro in a film called "Malvita." Veteran actress Michelle Pfeiffer also joins the mix for this one. it's a drama about a mafia family that is relocated to Normandy, France under the witness protection program. They find that fitting in soon becomes challenging as their old habits die hard.

Jones has been around the block a few times in the film industry. He is known for his work in classics such as "The Fugitive," "Men in Black" or even his role as Ty Cobb in the film "Cobb." He is skilled and knows how to use his Texas-style personality to steal the show.

Jones made his film debut in 1970. He played a role in "Love Story" with Ryan O'Neal.
