A Bump In The Long Road Back For Lindsay

Lindsay Lohan, whose legal problems and substance abuse issues have been more of a topic of publicity for her than her movies, says that she is clean and sober. It appears that Hollywood's powers that be don't buy it. The actress was not invited to the premiere of her own movie, "Machete."

This breaks the Hollywood norm of inviting every perfomrer to their movie premiere and there is lttle doubt that Lindsay's presense would have brought about a great deal of publicity.

One of the movie's directors reportedly asked that she not be allowed to show. It opened the day after she left rehab. A representative from 20th Century Fox says she was welcome.
