Question : Fear Effect would be interesting to see, how closely will it relate to the games?

Uwe : EIDOS are developing Fear Effect 3 together with our company.

Question : Would you consider choosing unknowns for the roles?

Uwe : Yes

Question : Do you think Jamie Pressly would be up for a role in the Fear Effect movie?

Uwe : It is a good possibilty

Question : Will the BloodRayne DVD be jam packed with features, what are your plans for it?

Uwe : Yes. We have over 8 hours behind the scenes.

Question : Will the DVD have any easter eggs, possibly linking in with the game BloodRayne 2?

Uwe : This we must figure out soon.

Question : Are you content with the finialization of BloodRayne, what do you think is the general opinion on the internet about it?

Uwe : I dont know. A lot of people will change their minds after they see Alone in the DarK.

Question : You are gaining a good reputation for making movies out of computer games, would you ever consider making a computer game that could one day be tuned into a movie by another?

Uwe : No. I can not make games.

Question : Can you ever see one of your movies being turned into a TV series?

Uwe : Absolutly. MTV is doing a BloodRayne animation right now !

Question : One of my forum members, Stephen Sommers is also a filmmaker, he owns Sir Reel Films. What do you think of his movie called The Wraith ?

Uwe : I saw the trailer it had good directing, good comic book ideas, good editing, good music although it had shitty actors and naff locations.

Question : Would you ever turn to comic based game movies?

Uwe : Why not?

Question : Stephens wanted to know what editing programs you use to make your films?

Uwe : We use AVID.

Uwe : Keep doing what you believe is right.

continued from the news page...

I have just read the article over at IGN Film Force and I asked Dr Boll if you could answer some more questions to cover what was said. Uwe replied back almost instantly to confirm his past answers.

Question : If you managed to get Hitman underneath your belt, would you plan on making it a one off or a trilogy of films?

Uwe : Two films would be made.

Question : In the previous interview you mentioned that Jason Statham would be a good choice, who else would you consider in this film?

Uwe : Bruce Willis, Jean Reno, Edward Norton, Brad Pitt

Question : You mention it will be a Bruce Willis type film, would there be a subtle connection between other action films?

Uwe : It would have references from "The Professional" by Luc Besson.

Question : Is Far Cry your next project? What will the storyline be for that movie?

Uwe : For Far Cry we are going to use the game story from the first game. The script is getting a polish right now.

Question : If you can get Bruce Willis to play the lead for Far Cry, that will be a great boost to your careah. Why do you think Kurt Russel or The Rock would make good alternatives? What inspires you to pick those to two actors for this role?

Uwe : There are not a lot of actors out who could play Jack Carver. We need a tough guy with humor. This is the reason why an older Bruce Willis will be better then Vin Diesel.

Question : Your script for "Hunter: The Reckoning" is quite strong, what is likely to happen in the film? Who do you think would be suited for this movie?

Uwe : We have a set up where our hero Riggs, is supposed to be the new Hunter leader, althoug he has no idea how the system works! He thinks that all of the Hunters are idiots. He gets chased by ghouls, Poltergeist, Skinriders and Carpenters, each time he grows in strength and leadership step by step. Donald Sutherland is allready attached to play one of the Hunters!
"Ginger Fitzgerald rocked my world!"

"This real sexy Oriental bitch says Joe what are you doing put your hands on the dash"
"I'll make him an offer he can't refuse"
"Get your stinking paws off me you damm dirty ape"
"What is that...you making a cake? say goodbye dickhead."

Thx again Rob.

About peoples thoughts on BloodRayne. Ya, a lot of people like to pick on Uwe and all after House of the Dead, his only American theater release film. So when it comes to Alone in the Dark or BloodRayne everyone simple plays bully and picks on them and every little detail just for kicks. Maybe their right, maybe their wrong. I don't plan on believing any of it. Bitchy kids saw AVP at a test screening and said that it was a piece of shit and that everyone in the theater was laughing at it, but I didn't think that nor see the audience bashing it when I saw it. They thought it was cool. So when I tend to wait to see it myself, or wait for "real" reviews, not bitchy troll tantrum.

Donald Sutherland for one of the Hunters....hmm, good actor.....could have been good for the Father (forgot his name)part, but he's dead now. Hmmm, still cool. Anyways, the stories cool since it revolves around Riggs being the new leader since in the last Hunter: The Reckoning, Priest the leader died. Could be cool.
