What films traumatised you as a child? Any particular scenes or characters that had you missing the toilet boil when you needed to relieve? Share them with everyone.

Herbie goes Monte Carlo effected me as a kid. An angry lovebug chasing a guy kinda freaked me out

Stephen King's IT, stupid scary Tim Curry. And those Firey people from Labyrinth that took their body parts off and trew them around.

I definitely agree with Stephen Kings IT, but maybe not Herbie! I also hated the scene in The Fly 2 with the mutant dog that was kept alive. Trust me if you see it, you will be disgusted! Other moments that affected me as a kid were probably The Neverending Story with The Wolf that chased Atreyu, and also his horse got killed in the Swamp of Depression or some crap. The horse giving up all hope and just sinking to its death was way too freaky for me. I was also disturbed by Ghost, those ghosts that took the villains away were damn disturbing! They were like these shadows things that just made this horrible droning as they dragged you away. Whoopi Goldberg making out with Demi Moore was alsxo damn freaky! Return to Oz, the whole film was pretty freaky but the wheelies and the woman with loads of heads were damn weird! Who can forget Poltergeist Trillogy, although they got progressively crapper, each one had its share of freaky moments. Like the parts with the ghost coming out of the TV, the kid with braces, the dad spewing out a maggot man, and the crazy preacher who loved to say "God is in his holllyyyyyyyyy Temple!"

They really should have a support group for children who have seen Return to Oz and have been affected to the wheelies. Also, although I wasnt bothered at the time, I was talking with my brother about Disney's Pinocchio and the abduction of the little wodden boy by Stromboli who made him a performing slave, that has been playing on my mind for a while. Kinda upsetting. I think childrens films in general are more successful at being horror movies than horror movies.

Who can forget the donkey transfroming scenes. Pinnochio just left all his mates as donkeys too, which is kinda disturbing. The fact that a wooden puppet that came alive is pretty freaky in itself! Mac and Me was damn freaky, ever seen an alien dance in a Mcdonalds, me neither! Secret of Nimh was quite out there, and as for American Tail, dont even go there! Also Legend with Tim Curry as Darkness, he was damn peculiar, and he had the biggest horns you've ever seen in your life!

Fuzzbucket?! I distinctly recall a Disney one time movie called Fuzzbucket...this kid literaly pulled together a pile of crap from the fridge and blended it down, next thing you know this creature...a humanoid creature absorbed the liquid and became real? How crazy is that for a kids flick, it must have been a kids flick it is not like I recall the creature going on a killing rampage.

Ignore that comment from the guy who reviewed it there, I have a great memory and I can assure you it was disturbing and had a pointless story.

Hey is the JIm Henson one The Dark Crystal? thats a classic i got it on Dvd, have to admit when i saw it as a kid bits of it scared me. Another thing that scarred me for life was the bit in 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit' when Bob Hoskins thinks he's found Jessica Rabbitt but she turns out to be realy ugly and chases him....that really freaked me out.

GARBAGE PAL KID STICKERS on her wadrobe...I was too young to know what was going on. Although I did not have any bad experiences as a kid I do think these are little too freaky for children. I mean just look at the cards and stickers we had on the wadrobe. It is a bit sadistic, and they made a movie!
